                                                                     Thanksgiving

            Thanksgiving is a holiday both in United States, Canada, and several place around the world. Thanksgiving is amazing holiday. In the Thanksgiving people meeting, eating, and have a lot of fun time together. Now I will describe what I did in the Thanksgiving. I went to my old host family and I ate Turkey and several kind of food. After that, I asked my host family about thanksgiving, so they explained to me  that Thanksgiving is a big Holiday. First, they told me that some families have children in other countries for studies or outside for jobs, so they can meet their children in this holiday. Second, after Thanksgiving is following day called Black Friday. it is a day in United States and several other countries around the world, Traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. On this day, most major retailers open extremely early and offer promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season.

                                               Qusi Kheder

               Qusai Kheder is the first professional rapper from the nation of Saudi Arabia. I admire him because he is my friend and he lives across the street from my house. He is famous in both Saudi Arabia and America. He is born in Riyadh, but was raised in Jeddah city. Then, he moved to Florida to go to college. Qusai extended his natural talent into rapping and began performing at clubs in central Florida and across the US. He hopes to make America his home, although he still misses his hometown.

My name is Rami Basaad. I am from Saudi Arabia in Jeddah. I am 20 years old. I came to USA right

after I graduated from the ten top students in my class. Then I got scholarship from the government of

Saudi Arabia to continue my education. I decided to travel to USA for the first time alone. Additionally,

I would like to make my father proud.




I will never forget that first when my father spoke with me. He asked me to come to his office to talk

 about my future. He explained to me how to be successful. Also he gave me some benefits and

structures to build a great life, and he explained to me that eduction is the key to success in life. I took

 every word he said seriously. After that I realized that he want to approach to me to be a good person.

He gave me a period of time to think about what he said.




Finally, English is not my native language. I attend an English as a second language (ALP) program for

 one year. In the ALP program I have met students from all over the word. I made new friends and leaned new

 cultures.
